Q: Can I limit the fields that an OrgChart administrator is able to pull from SuccessFactors?
A: Yes. Consult your SuccessFactors System Administrator for more information. Permissions in SuccessFactors can be configured to limit which fields can be queried.
Q: What fields can I pull from SuccessFactors?
A: Almost any field associated with a user can be pulled from SuccessFactors. Fields from any table can be included in a query, as long as they are linked to the base resource table (typically the User Resource Table).
Q: Can I merge data from a secondary source with SuccessFactors data?
A: Yes. For example, you can include additional information from an Excel or CSV merge file.
Q: Can I embed org charts (generated from SuccessFactors data) into my intranet?
A: Yes. You can embed live charts in your intranet – these charts can be set to auto-sync with SuccessFactors. Set and forget.
